Salary: M1 – UPS 3 currently £31,650 - £49,084 FTE
Pyrland School, in addition to being part of Richard Huish Trust, is currently being supported by the Midsomer Norton School's Partnership, is looking to appoint a committed, caring and inspirational professional to fill the role of Teacher of DT as soon as possible.We are seeking an excellent candidate with a passion for Design and Technology and the ability to motivate and enthuse students, deepening their knowledge and understanding. In addition to this, the successful teacher will manage behaviour effectively to create a safe, respectful and nurturing environment so that students can focus on learning.
The school is on journey of improvement and has a strong staff team in place to ensure every child is enabled to fulfil their potential. We have excellent pastoral support and our students report that they feel very happy and safe at the school.We are proud of our students. The relationships between staff and students are strong. Community engagement is also an important feature; a recent poll showed a high degree of parental satisfaction. Pyrland School is a Church of England voluntary aided mainstream secondary school academy (11-16).
