JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you a Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Stoke? We have an exciting opportunity for you!- Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist (Band 8a)
- Location: Stoke – NHS Hospital
- Duration: Minimum 3 months
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (30 min break)
- Start Date: June 2025

- Rate of Pay: £33-37ph

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our client's team as a Clinical Pharmacist and play a key role in improving patient care within a hospital setting. In this role, you will:
- Work in a ward-based setting, delivering clinical pharmacy services
- Conduct medication reviews and optimise drug therapies for patients
- Provide expert advice on prescribing and medicines management
- Support the dispensary team with allocated slots (2 hours per shift)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current and valid GPhC registration
- Prior NHS hospital experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in wards-based pharmacy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, with flexibility where possible. The contract is for a minimum of 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
