We are seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for a long-term role supporting two children with Autism, one of whom presents some behavioural challenges. The ideal candidate will be patient, resilient, and skilled in fostering a supportive learning environment, helping both children stay engaged, focused, and develop positive behaviours.
Start Date: ImmediateWorking Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Interview/Trial Dates: Weeks commencing 10th March and 17th March
Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant requirements:- Experience supporting children with moderate to severe learning difficulties
- Recent school-based experience within the last five years
- Strong behaviour management skills, with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations positively
- Creative and dynamic approach to engaging and supporting pupils
- Team player who can collaborate effectively with staff and contribute to a positive learning environment
- Commitment to the role until the end of the academic year (July 2025)
