Business Operations Manager, AWS WWPS

The AWS Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) I&I team is seeking an experienced Sales Operations professional to support International Business Operations and Public Sector Sales. This role involves providing data analysis, supporting core Business Operations activities, and make continuous improvements and adjustments to maintain efficient operations.Responsibilities include assisting with Business Operations, executing daily business tasks, collaborate cross-functionally within AWS with organizations such as Finance, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Sales, serving as a key business partner for effective communications, issue resolution, and organization alignment.
The Business Operations Manager role is key in driving efficiency and data-driven decision-making within our organization's framework. This role will play a critical role in integrating best practices, automating processes, and enhancing data management to optimize operational workflows across various business units.By leveraging cutting-edge technologies and tools such as GenAI, LLM, Tableau, Salesforce, and Anaplan, the Business Operations Manager will facilitate streamlined data management, business processing, and reporting, thereby empowering stakeholders with actionable insights.
In addition to supporting day-to-day operations, the role will spearhead digital disruption initiatives aimed at automating critical tasks and strategic reporting. These contributions will enable our Field Sales Operations teams to focus more strategically on partnerships with Sales Leaders.
Moreover, you will collaborate closely with functional teams to drive the adoption of our tools and processes, ensuring that our sales teams are equipped with the necessary resources and training to leverage data effectively. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact within our dynamic organization, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in Business Operations.
Key job responsibilities- Work backwards from our customers to develop business insights based on both qualitative and quantitative deep-dives on metrics, trends and surveys for improving customer experience.
- Understand business goals, system platforms, and processes and recommend new approaches and procedures to effect standardization and improvements in business operations.
- Provide comprehensive support to Field Sales Operations, including pre-fulfilling templates, managing shared service requests, and ensuring the effective ground-level implementation of strategies.
- Correlate various input and output metrics to establish mechanisms and drive improvements in various processes.
- Make continuous improvements and adjustments to maintain efficient operations.
- Build specific enablement assets that help train/guide the field organization, create awareness internally, and engage customers.
- Contribute to strategic and annual planning, narrative development, market research, and performance data analysis that will help shape the evolution of I&I PS.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within AWS with organizations such as Finance, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Sales, serving as a key business partner for effective communications, issue resolution, and organization alignment.
- Establish regular communication cadence with teams.

- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
- Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- Experience with SQL
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
- Master's degree or equivalent
