Salary: £38,768 - £50,291 (Dependent on Experience)

We teach in small groups with a dedicated and experienced teaching team, ensuring that each student receives individual attention and care. We create individual learning packages to support our students' needs.
Main Duties
Teaching and Learning:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging maths lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Use effective strategies, resources, and technology (e.g., MyiMaths, TTRS) to enhance learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting lessons for all learners, including those with SEND.
- Support students in preparing for assessments, both internal and external.
Curriculum Contribution:
- Assist in planning and developing a relevant, challenging, and engaging maths curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and high teaching standards.
- Support remote learning where necessary by preparing resources and delivering online lessons.
Student Progress and Wellbeing:
- Set high expectations for behaviour and achievement, creating a positive and supportive environment.
- Monitor and track progress, implementing interventions when needed.
- Provide encouragement to build confidence and resilience in mathematics.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers about student progress.
Professional Development:
- Engage in training and CPD opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Share best practices with colleagues and keep up-to-date with developments in maths education.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and provide cover for absent staff when required.
- Contribute to enrichment activities or intervention programmes.

About You- Strong subject knowledge, classroom management, and ability to motivate students of all abilities.
- Effective communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Willing to submit an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification/experience.
- A passion for mathematics and improving student outcomes.
- Complete Child Protection Training. Promote and safeguard the welfare of all children and young person’s they are responsible for, or come into contact with.
