About the role
As a Youth Tutor, you will work closely with students to provide individualised tutoring sessions, support their learning needs, and inspire them to achieve their potential.Jobs Growth Wales Plus (JGW+) is a Welsh Government initiative that provides work experience and training opportunities to young people and unemployed individuals, enhancing their employability and supporting job creation in various sectors.
Your impact- Delivering training sessions using a variety of teaching methods to engage, support, and motivate learners to enhance their skills and progression opportunities.
- Develop creative lesson plans incorporating differentiated teaching styles and activities to ensure a quality learning experience.
- Planning and supporting the learner in their individual learning journey.
- Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications to a quality standard in a timely fashion.
What are we looking for?
Essential- Experience working with young people and/or being passionate about making a difference.
- Engaging and inspirational training and delivery style
- Willingness to work towards CAVA qualification or 8375 practitioners Award Level 3 or equivalent qualifications.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration.
