Job Title: Sports Graduate and Activities CoordinatorLocation: Hambrook School, Burgess Hill, West Sussex
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Sports Graduate and Activities Coordinator to join our fantastic team at Hambrook School in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. About the role
As Sports Graduate and Activities Coordinator, you will have a multifaceted role that includes organising clubs, activities, trips and events for our student community as well as being responsible for leading and delivering the school's sports and recreation provision.This is an ideal position for a motivated graduate with a background in sports coaching who has experience in working with young people, ideally those with SEN, who thrives on creating memorable experiences for young people in an inclusive environment.
At Hambrook, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of Sports, Games and Outdoor Education in ways that maximises pupil's achievement and ability to develop.
Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, and you will be working in an environment where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.
Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN/ASC environment would be desirable, excellent coaching and motivational skills and the right passion, personal qualities and resilience are just as important.
Qualification requirements:
- Degree in Sports or related field (not essential, but preferable)
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with young people (with SEN desirable)
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training (we can provide this if needed)
- You will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.

Hambrook School is in Burgess Hill West Sussex. We opened in September 2023 and secured an Ofsted ‘Good’ rating in just 7 short months!
We help pupils excel by providing a structured, nurturing approach, alongside a broad, balanced, engaging and extraordinarily rich curriculum.
