Exchange People, a family-run recruitment business based in Runcorn since 1997, are looking for a payroll administrator to join our own team in Runcorn.
Reporting to the company directors, you will assist in the running of a busy weekly payroll for our temporary staff. The role is office-based, at our own office in Runcorn Old Town.
Duties will include:
- Inputting of hours on to payroll software
- Checking of timesheets
- Dealing with wage queries
- Sending invoices
- Updating reports & spreadsheets
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience within a payroll or finance environment
- Be very strong numerically and have demonstrable experience working with numbers
- Have excellent organisation skills, and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good telephone manner & email writing ability
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel & other Office applications
The rate of pay for this role is £14.00 per hour.
Working Tuesday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. During exceptionally busy times there may be some additional hours, particularly on a Wednesday.
This position is maternity cover, which is expected to run until at least September 2025.
