As a Trust we were excited to have been chosen by the Department for Education as their approved sponsor to open a new secondary school to support the increasing population of Barnsley. In September 2021 Trinity Academy St Edward’s opened its doors to a founding cohort of Year 7 students from across the town.

We are now seeking a Physical Education and Maths teacher to join our expanding team and become a key player in the development and success of Trinity Academy St Edward’s. The role of teacher of PE and Maths is such an exciting opportunity to contribute to two fantastic teams that play a huge part in our wonderful academy.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Curriculum Leader of maths and the Head of PE and all other colleagues to ensure that the curriculum offer at Key Stage 3 remains strong and will assist in the planning and delivery of our new curriculum at Key Stage 4.

The successful candidate will deliver lessons at both Key Stage 3 and 4. This will be a 50-50 split in terms of teaching time of both subjects.

You will be able to access our bookletised curriculum and contribute to its development across three schools in our Trust and we will offer you effective and personalised CPD to enhance your pedagogical knowledge.
