Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year
Requirements:
- 1. Degree Level or equivalent industry qualification
- 2. Proficient in Power BI, with extensive analytical skills, experience with data preparation and data warehousing projects
- 3. Experience in Microsoft BI stack
- 4. Experience with SQL and Data warehousing concepts and transforming unstructured data.
- 5. Proficient in problem solving techniques

Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Visualisation
- 1. Proactively engage with business stakeholders to understand their data
- visualisation and business intelligence needs
- 2. Design, develop, test and deploy Power BI scripts to generate visually
- appealing and insightful reports
- 3. Create custom visualisations in response to organisational demand
- Data Modelling
- 1. Develop a comprehensive understanding of project data requirements and
- provide a model of the relevant entities within a specific problem domain.
- 2. Build data models and develop dashboards using Power BI
- 3. Develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data
- warehouse standards
- Integration and Collaboration
- 1. Integrate Power BI reports into other applications to provide enhanced
- business capabilities
- 2. Collaborate with application developers to design and develop Power BI data
- visualisations
- Documentation and Support
- 1. Document the processes used and the methodologies implemented
- 2. Provide ongoing support for deployed BI solutions in partnership with
- Application Support functions.
- 3. Contribute to the organisation’s Data Strategy, working with enterprise and
- data architects and senior leaders in IT.
- General responsibilities
- 1. Demonstrate a willingness to work flexibly, sometimes outside of normal core hours, in response to service demand, downtime or project wok.

Purpose of this job is to proactively engage with stakeholders regarding data requirements. Support the Head of IT, enterprise and data architect in developing the data strategy forDementia UK. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft’s Power BI platform. The role is essentially focused on transforming raw data into meaningful business insights. The Power BI developer will enable data-driven decision-making by creating dashboards that provide real-time analytics and trends, which help in identifying opportunities and addressing issues promptly.
By automating data integration and reporting processes, this role reduces manual effort and minimises errors, leading to increased efficiency and productivity. Expertise in data modelling ensures that complex data sets are accurately represented, making it easier for stakeholders to understand and act upon the information.
