Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Band 7 Occupational Therapist to work within community settings and acute stroke inpatient care. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assessing and supporting patients through their stroke recovery journey, providing high-quality therapeutic interventions to maximize independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy to stroke patients in both community and inpatient settings
- Provide expert rehabilitation and support for stroke recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored care plans
- Manage complex caseloads independently and assist with discharge planning
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months NHS experience
- Experience in stroke rehabilitation and community-based care
- Ability to manage complex and varied caseloads
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
