Job Title: CNC Miller Programmer Hurco, Job Type: Permanent Nights
Location: Sutton ColdfieldSalary: £40 - £43k
Shift: Nights Monday to Thursday beginning at 9pm and finishing at 7am
Overtime Available x 1.5
Our client are contract Toolmakers specialising in the design and development of high quality technical plastic components, assemblies and systems. This includes exterior and interior components that can be either painted or unpainted, EV battery components and functional black parts.
Job description
The role of CNC Miller, setter operator will include the following duties:
- Program, set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
- Select and install cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and work holding devices
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy.
- Predominantly will be working on 3 axis milling machine.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine performance or product quality
