Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. This role involves working across various departments, including inpatient wards, to deliver high-quality care and enable patients to achieve optimal independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage a diverse caseload of patients with complex physical and mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support rehabilitation and recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
- Provide advice, education, and support to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with professional standards.
Key Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience in managing complex caseloads in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- NHS experience is highly desirable.
