Location: Cheltenham
Remuneration: £50,000 - £80,000 per annum

About Our Client:
Our client, an organisation specialising in agile power systems for renewable energy, is seeking a forward-thinking and confident Commercial Lawyer to join their team in Cheltenham. With a focus on innovation and sustainability, they are a key player in the industry and are shaping the future of the grid.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating contracts with business partners, suppliers, and customers.
- Providing legal advice and support on various matters including contracts, compliance, intellectual property, employment law, and corporate governance.
- Creating and managing standard contract templates for project development.
- Collaborating closely with the management team to provide legal support for future growth.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Offering general and commercial legal support to businesses in the group.
- Identifying risk areas and developing risk mitigation solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Assisting with company secretarial matters and document management.
- Becoming an expert resource on complex regulations in the electricity sector.
- Supporting the delivery of risk management strategies and compliance.
About You:
You are a qualified lawyer with a strong academic background and experience in commercial law, preferably within the energy or construction sector. While renewable energy experience is preferred, a strong interest in the sector will suffice for the right candidate.You possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues in a commercial setting.
