Complex care support worker
We are looking for suitable people to provide care services to service users in their homes. Experience is preferable but not essential. Training will be provided where necessary.
The job description
You will be responsible for providing person-centered care to vulnerable people in their homes, to help them achieve maximum quality of life.Accurately and clearly documenting the service user’s progress using online systems is an important part of the job.
Duties will include:- Assisting clients with personal care
- Assisting with nutrition and hydration
- Assisting with mobility and hoisting
- Light housekeeping duties
- Administering medication
- Organizing suitable recreational activities
- Providing mental and emotional support and reassurance
- Recording and reporting daily progress
- Feeding via gastronomy
- Good spoken and written English
- Empathy, sensitivity, tact and discretion
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Good team spirit
- Good judgment and ability to act your own initiative
- Ability to learn tasks quickly
