We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Clinical Fellow to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain greater Haematology knowledge and experience. The clinical fellow will work alongside the SpR to support seven consultant haematologists delivering haeamatological services to patients at Torbay.

Main duties of the job

It is expected that the individual will support clinics and the day unit and develop chemotherapy prescribing skills (if not already competent). They will support the department to develop clinical research activity. The post holder will be expected to support the teaching and training of the South West peninsula medical students.

MBBS

Clinical Experience

  • Previous SACT prescribing

Teaching/Research Experience

Desirable criteria
  • Experience of teaching clinical skills to undergraduates’ postgraduates
  • Experience of teaching clinical skills to postgraduates
  • GCP training or experience of clinical trial work
  • Postgraduate teaching qualification
