ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of clients' housing needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Advocate on behalf of clients to access suitable housing options and related services.
Collaborate with local agencies, organizations, and landlords to increase housing availability and support for clients.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, housing assessments, and follow-up activities.
Develop and implement resources and toolkits to assist clients in understanding their housing options.
Provide training and support to colleagues on housing policies and procedures.
Monitor housing trends and policies to recommend effective strategies and improvements.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in social work, urban planning, public policy, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in housing services or social work, preferably in a community setting.
Strong understanding of housing policies, regulations, and available resources.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse clients and stakeholders.
Ability to analyze data and utilize it for informed decision-making and strategy development.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £22.00
