Main duties of the job- To work as a primary care provider in all aspects of midwifery care.

Person specification
Education/ qualifications
Essential criteria- Registered Midwife (NMC)
- Educated to degree level in relevant subject area
- FRSH competency implant insertion
- Evidence of CPD
Experience
Essential criteria- >1 year post registration clinical experience working as an RM in the UK
- Completed preceptorship course if applicable
- Experience of working in all clinical settings
- Experience in conducting audits.
Skills/knowledge/ abilities
Essential criteria- Able to demonstrate a working knowledge in standard setting and quality management.
- Ability to apply research to practice
- IT skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to demonstrate evidence of line management of non-registrant staff i.e. MSWs
