Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Term Time plus 5 days
Salary: Grade D point 6 - 11 (pro rata per annum) £25,183 to £27,269 per annum FTE
Actual Salary: £18,941 to £20,510 per annum

The Governing Board of St Matthew’s Primary School Bolton are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistants to work in the KS 2 classes of their successful 2 form entry, multicultural school.
The successful candidates must be sympathetic to the values of a church school serving a multicultural community and be committed to raising achievement and developing our children holistically.
The successful candidates will:Be hardworking and have experience of working as part of a successful team; Hold the TA 2 qualification, be qualified to at least GNVQ 2 and have good English and Maths skills; Have aspirations to help all children reach their potential and become the best that they can be
Have excellent skills in communication, creativity, IT and organisation
Have a commitment to be involved in every aspects of our school life
Have a great sense of humour and enjoys working as a team player
The role of the Teaching Assistant is to monitor development and support children with their education under the direction of the Teacher. The Teaching Assistant is responsible for ensuring that the teaching environment is ready for teaching prior to the lesson commencing.
