We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team, supporting secondary schools in Spalding, Lincolnshire. If you have a love for literature and language and enjoy inspiring young minds, we want to hear from you!
Key Details:
- Position: English Teacher
- Location: Secondary schools in Spalding, Lincolnshire
- Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday (Term time only)
- Pay: Starting at £160 per day, with potential for increases based on performance
Role Overview: As an English Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, fostering a love for English and helping students improve their reading, writing, and communication skills. You will be responsible for both planning and marking, ensuring students make progress and receive feedback to help them succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging English lessons for secondary school students (KS3/KS4)
- Assessing student progress, providing feedback, and supporting their development
- Marking student work and keeping accurate records of their performance
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and enhance student outcomes
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience teaching English at secondary school level (KS3/KS4)
- Strong knowledge of English curriculum and exam requirements
- A passion for literature and language, and the ability to inspire students
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to student success and inclusive teaching
