FLT Driver

BPC Building Products are a growing Manufacturing business based in Wakefield. We are looking for an efficient and organised FLT Driver to join our expanding team, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor.

• Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 3pm
• 12.66 per hour

BPC Building Products is a leading manufacturer of high-quality fixings and fasteners, serving the construction industry with innovative solutions. As our business grows, we are looking for a skilled FLT Driver to support our expanding warehouse operations.

The Role

As an FLT Driver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse and yard operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unloading deliveries and completing necessary paperwork
• Operating forklifts and reach trucks to handle large or awkwardly shaped products
• Picking and preparing products for dispatch, including shrink-wrapping, banding, and labelling
• Loading trucks using forklifts
• Ensuring the warehouse and yard are clean and well-organised
• Carrying out basic fitting work
• Scanning goods in and out of the warehouse
• Moving finished goods and raw materials

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and a strong team player. About you:

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence and confident driving ability
• Ability to work well in a team and promote a positive team attitude
• Good oral communication skills
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Adaptability and willingness to take on varied tasks
• Flexibility to work overtime when required
• Flexi Truck Licence (an advantage but not essential)
