Contracts Manager - Maidstone
Your responsibilities will include advising on buildability, preparing health and safety documentation and ensuring compliance with project requirements. You will also gather and review briefing documents to support the development of design feasibility studies and outline designs that meet client expectations.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Sevenoaks, Kent, with travel to various FM Conway sites in Central London.
The duties of the Contract Manager role will include:
- Preparing, reviewing and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with NEC/JCT terms
- Identifying and mitigating contractual risks while managing project changes, ensuring accurate documentation, approval and pricing
- Ensuring regulatory compliance, collaborating with legal teams to resolve disputes and maintaining contract legality
- Supporting clients with advising on early contractor involvement as well as coordinating stakeholders and overseeing subcontractor performance
- Maintaining organised contract records via Asite and providing regular reports on contract status, financials and project progress
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for a professional and focused Contract Manager who has demonstrable experience working on various medium to large construction sites. You will be confident in a client facing role and will have worked on NEC/JCT contracts, you will have exceptional understanding of resource planning, value and cost management, stakeholder engagement and design management experience.To be considered for this role you will be educated to degree level or equivalent and hold a construction related qualification such as a NVQ Level 6, HNC or HND. This role will involve travel to other company locations therefore, you must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
