Family Solicitor (1-3 PQE) - National Law Firm
Are you a passionate and motivated Family Solicitor looking to progress your career in a supportive and dynamic environment? Our client, a leading national law firm, is looking for a Junior Family Solicitor with 1-3 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their experienced Family Law team to operate out of one of their offices in either Gloucestershire or Worcestershire.
Role Overview: As a Junior Family Solicitor, you will play a vital role in handling a variety of family law matters, including divorce and children's matters along with all other private family law issues. You will be working closely with two highly regarded partners in the team, providing you with exceptional opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with divorce and dissolution proceedings.
- Advising on cohabitation disputes and agreements.
- Supporting clients with children-related matters, including custody and contact arrangements.
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court papers.
- Representing clients in family court hearings under the guidance of senior solicitors.
- Providing client-focused advice and support with empathy and professionalism.
- Managing a varied caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.
About You:
- You will be a UK-qualified solicitor (1-3 years PQE).
- You have a strong interest in family law and are eager to develop your expertise in this field.
- You are able to work independently but also thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrate a client-focused approach to your work.
- You show a keen eye for detail, are highly organised, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Previous experience in family law, particularly divorce, cohabitation, and children's matters, is beneficial.
