Working as part of the outpatient team the role will involve providing high quality admin and clerical support. The post holder will need to use their initiative and skills to develop processes and ensure the effective provision of a quality service.

The post holder will be required to work within the Nottingham Treatment Centre and take responsibility for: Administrating the Electronic Referral System, receiving referral letters, email referrals, and external and internal Consultant referrals, maintaining out-patient appointment waiting lists, using judgement and initiative to scheduling out-patient appointments in accordance with Trust waiting list targets, and handling associated telephone calls, for the specialties.Close liaison with Managers within the Directorates, GP surgeries, patients, hospital administrative and clinical staff will be necessary in order to provide a prompt and quality patient focused service
