A leading not-for-profit utilities company in Wales are currently looking for an additional Security Engineer to bolster their ranks. The company offers a strong benefits package which includes 33 days' annual leave alongside enhanced pension contributions.
Your new role
You will be supporting the Security Engineering Lead in a broad variety of work, with the ability to gain a lot of different experience across multiple areas. You will be a key member of the Security Engineering team, which forms part of the Security Operations team.
- Day-to-day support and maintenance of security tooling.
- Focus on maximising security value from existing investments.
- Monitor the capacity of security tooling & supporting infrastructure and forecast future capacity for security products.
- Understand and develop security configurations for micro services, serverless computing and software-as-a-service security solutions
- Technical skills and strong communication skills
- Strong experience in a similar role, ideally with experience within Microsoft infrastructures.
- Experience with hands-on security engineering duties, assurance, and risk assessments
- Knowledge of cloud security principles, ideally Azure.
- To undergo a DBS security check.
