To determine clinical diagnosis and develop effective clinical and therapeutic management plans and pathways for patients presenting in consultant clinics or physiotherapy services (inpatient and outpatient) delivered by Gateshead. The post holder will have a prominent role within the team ensuring high quality specialist clinical care within MSK Orthopaedics.
Demonstrate a high level of complex decision making in relation to the assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of patient care Access to diagnostic tests in line with evidence based practice (EBP), NICE guidelines and pathways of care.
To provide training, advice and clinical education to service providers, service users and service commissioners. To work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team and physiotherapy team In conjunction with the physiotherapy service lead; review, develop and organise the co-ordination of the department in order to meet service and Trust objectives.
