Location: Bridgend (CF32)
Pay: £12.90 per hour (£83.85 per day)

Contract Type: Full-time

We are working closely with a school in Bridgend that caters to pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with a sporting background who are keen to bring their skills and energy to an educational setting.

Whether you have professional or personal experience supporting individuals with ALN, we want to hear from you!

The school supports pupils aged 7-19, so the ability to build rapport with students and staff alike is crucial. A basic understanding of the Welsh curriculum will help you effectively assist students in their lessons. If you have a background in sports, your skills in teamwork, discipline, and motivation will be highly valued.
  • Engage Pupils: Ensure students are actively participating in all sessions.
  • Behaviour Management: Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviours in a positive and effective way.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in relevant training and development opportunities.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate and EWC Registration (we can assist with these).
  • Understanding of Child Development: Knowledge of the needs of children, including those with disabilities or behavioural challenges.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: A proactive and flexible approach to meeting the varied needs of pupils.
  • Competitive pay rates.
  • Comprehensive training to prepare you for success in this role.
  • FREE child protection and Prevent Duty training.
  • The chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

If you're ready to bring your sporting enthusiasm and passion for supporting young learners to this rewarding role, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today, and one of our team members will be in touch to discuss next steps.

Safeguarding Commitment

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We conduct comprehensive safeguarding checks in line with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education', which may include an online search as part of our due diligence for shortlisted candidates.
