Assistant Psychologist | Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust
The team provides intensive support to these service users throughout the hospital discharge process and beyond, to help those who would have otherwise struggled to move back into the community.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is interested in a career in Psychology to gain a broad range of skills and experiences within a recovery-focused team. The successful individual will receive regular supervision from a Qualified Psychologist and will also have the opportunity to meet for regular peer supervision with the other Assistant Psychologists in the Rehabilitation Division.
The successful individual will be required to undertake a range of activities under the guidance and supervision of a Qualified Psychologist. These include assessments, direct clinical work (including individual, family and group work), report writing, attending meetings, assisting with data collection, taking a lead role regarding outcome measures and supporting with service development projects.The postholder will also support with preparation for and contribution to regular team psychological formulation and reflective practice sessions.
