Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for Swift Payments and Swift Messaging applications to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Offer second- and third-line application support for Swift-related infrastructure.
- Manage incidents, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolutions in a timely manner.
- Perform system analysis and implement new Swift-related applications and updates.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL standards for incident and change management.
- Serve as the liaison between the technology department and business teams to communicate system updates and changes.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including workflows and system processes.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee system upgrades and implementations.
- Monitor and report on Swift transaction volumes and system performance.
The Successful Applicant
Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in Swift Payments and Swift Messaging infrastructure.
- Solid background in Windows and Linux/Unix OS, including one of the following: SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle.
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
- Proven ability to work under high-pressure conditions with a structured and analytical approach.
- Experience in financial services, preferably in payments, settlements, or treasury operations.
- Understanding of ITIL framework and change management processes.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in technical onboarding of new APIs and systems.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Fix Messaging protocol and market connectivity protocols for global financial institutions.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in Swift Payments, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
