Job Advert: Full-Time Temporary Music Teacher – Leyland

Are you a passionate and inspiring music teacher ready to share your talent with students in Leyland? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join our vibrant school community from September. This full-time, temporary role will give you the opportunity to teach and inspire the next generation of musicians in a supportive and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality music lessons across key stages.
  • Encourage and nurture students' musical skills, from beginner to advanced levels.
  • Organise and participate in school performances and musical events.
  • Work collaboratively with the music department to develop an engaging curriculum.
  • Provide a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Passion for music and education with the ability to inspire students.
  • Experience teaching music at secondary level is desirable.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to adapt lessons to suit diverse learning needs.
