Asset Engineer/ IT Support Engineer
Please note that this role is inside IR35.
Rate is £18.70 per hour
Working hours: 8 hours per day between 8 am and 17:30. No overtime expected.
Scope: play a pivotal role in managing the movement of assets, coordinating service tickets, and ensuring efficient asset management processes.
It is a hybrid role, a combination of asset mgt activities (moving parts, admin) ~85% and technical (IMAC) ~15% . Candidate should be ok with physical activities (offloading devices, moving them.)
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the movement of assets within the organization, ensuring proper tracking and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment movements, including shipping and receiving activities.
- Coordinate break-fix activities, liaising with internal teams and external vendors, as necessary.
- Perform grading of returned equipment against agreed-upon processes, ensuring compliance with standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize asset management procedures and enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilize Service Now platform to effectively manage and prioritize service tickets, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.
- Execute IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Disposal) processes with precision and efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for IT operations and asset management.
- Understanding and experience of entry-level IT operations
