Job Description:
IPS is hiring! We are looking for a talented Project Controller to join our industry leading team, based at our growing EMEA office located in Birmingham, UK.
The Project Controller will be assigned to projects to develop, review, coordinate and summarize the activities of cost control, planning and scheduling, document control and estimating. The individual may also assume other commercial duties as designated by the Project Manager with the concurrence of the Director of Project Controls.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Produce and maintain the Project Control Execution Plan.
- Produce the project cost and progress reports for Project Manager and Client.
- Support the Project Control and Estimating personnel assigned to project.
- Support the development and maintenance of forecasts for cost and scheduling.
- Identify and analyze potential project problems.
- Recommend corrective action and follow-up on recommendations.
- Motivate Project Team to meet project objectives.
- Promote communication and teamwork within group and project.
- Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Engineering or Accounting Degree and/or 5+ years of Relevant Experience.
- High Level of Mathematical ability with experience in Database and MicroSoft Systems.
- Proven history of successful completion on Independent assignments.
Other than Entry Level the Individual must have:
- Thorough understanding of EPCV Project Controls both Cost and Scheduling.
- Proficient in Producing all the required Project Controls deliverables pertaining to both Cost and Scheduling.
- Ability to develop an EPCV schedule using proper WBS and OBS parameters.
- Ability to Reconfigure and Recast Cost Estimates to create Project Cashflow Curves and Diagrams.
- Thorough understanding of Standard Project Accounting standards.
- Experience working in both a Home Office and Field environment.
