An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our science team. We are keen to receive applications from:
- ECTs or newly qualified teachers
- Experienced teachers who wish to broaden their experience and skills at a successful inner-city school. We will offer a significant TLR/recruitment incentive to any successful applicant
We welcome applicants who wish to:
- teach science up to key stage 4
- teach across all key stages (key stages 3, 4 and 5)
- teach only/mostly at A Level (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
We teach the AQA specification at GCSE and A level
The successful applicant will have strong subject knowledge and passionate about sharing their love of science with our young people. We have well established staff development programmes and offer exciting career progression opportunities for our staff.A TLR allowance is available for a suitably experienced applicant to take on additional role within the department.
You will be joining a team of staff who firmly believe that there are no limits to what our young people can achieve. Our science department is extremely well resourced and this is reflected in student outcomes at GCSE and A level. The sciences are the most popular subjects at A level, with many students proceeding to study science-based courses at the elite Russell Group universities, including Oxbridge.
