JOB TITLE: System Administrator- UK & Ireland Applications
REPORTING TO: CAFM Manager
LOCATION: Hybrid (minimum 3 days office based in North Greenwich, London with requirement to travel to Heathrow office as required)
CONTRACT: Permanent, 40 hours per week

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

The System Administrator will oversee and support critical applications essential to ABM operations across UK and Ireland. These applications include, but are not limited to, work order management, auditing and electronic documentation, P2P, time and attendance management, and client reporting systems.

This role serves as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring applications remain effective, efficient, and aligned with strategic goals. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), the System Administrator will evaluate current systems, recommend alternative solutions where needed, and actively participate in application migrations and upgrades.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, enhancing processes, and delivering value to the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide training and ongoing support for UK IT applications to ensure user proficiency and satisfaction.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve user-related issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements within the applications.
  • Develop functional specifications to address business needs and identify areas requiring alternative solutions.
  • Analyse and report on application usage and performance to senior leadership.
  • Lead the change management efforts for application migrations, aligning with the systems strategy roadmap.
  • Play a hands-on role in application migrations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, workflows, and work instructions to support application processes.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Organization: Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with excellent decision-making skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Collaboration: Positive attitude with a team-first mindset and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Presentation Skills: Skilled in delivering system overviews and training to diverse audiences.
  • Self-Motivation: Proactive, self-starter who takes initiative
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A relevant business or technical degree.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in software applications, specifically in CAFM, workforce management solutions, or procure-to-pay systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of applications such as CAFM, WFM, and P2P, including defect resolution and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with formal system implementation methodologies, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
