As a Staff Nurse you will be helping with admissions, transfers and discharges from ED of surgical and urology patients to a busy surgical assessment unit.
You will provide a high standard of individualised care to patients, acting as a role model and supporting the sisters /Charge nurse in driving quality care provision forward.

Main duties of the job
If successful, some of your duties will include:
- Admitting, transferring and discharging surgical and urology patients from Broomfield and Basildon.
- Relevant nursing tasks including (but not restricted to) drug administration, wound care, drain care, pre and post operative care, personal care, pressure area care etc.
- Completing relevant nursing paperwork and assessments.
- Liaising with Senior staff and bed management to keep the patient flow.
