About the Service
Elwood Healthcare are looking to recruit dedicated individuals to support vulnerable children and young adults. As part of the care and support team you will assist in maintaining a safe and enabling environment that provides positive experiences to children living with complex needs, physical disabilities and learning disabilities (LD).

Children could present emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and some elements of this role require personal care.

Successful applicants will be:
  • Supporting, mentoring and educating our children with day to day activities to develop their emotional and social needs
  • Developing personal and practical skills to enhance independent living
  • Positive engagement to encourage our children and young people in their development
  • Reporting and recording key aspects of care and developing your professional skills as part of on-going development plan.
  • Managing complex and behaviours that may challenge
  • Support and engagement with a range of activities

Typical Shift Schedules / Patterns*:
We have flexible shift patterns to suit your lifestyle, giving you full control of when you would like to work. Candidates can expect to work a mixture of earlies, lates, long days and waking nights.
  • 8am – 2pm
  • 7.30am – 3pm
  • 1pm – 9.30pm
  • 2.30pm – 9.30pm
  • 4pm – 9.30pm
  • 4pm – 8pm
  • 9.30pm – 8am
  • 8 Hour Shift
  • 10 Hour Shift
  • 12 Hour Shift
  • Day Shift
  • Night Shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend Availability

Salary: £11.44-£12.00 per hour
