Year 6 General Classroom Teaching Assistant.

Location: Skelmersdale, Lancashire.

Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant (Year 6).

Hours: 8:45 AM - 3:15 PM.

Pay: £12.90 per hour.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Skelmersdale. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the classroom and help our students thrive as they prepare for their next educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom activities and resources.
  • Provide individual and small group support to students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.
  • A passion for education and supporting student development.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
