Repair Cell Technician

You will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and testing a variety of technical products while maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring efficient turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities of a Repair Cell Technician:

• Conduct fault diagnosis and perform in-depth testing and repairs on a range of electronic assemblies and circuitry.
• Inspect and document faults on customer-returned equipment and produce detailed repair surveys.
• Maintain accurate test records and update the customer returns database.
• Liaise with production, engineering, quality, and stores teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure all work is completed within budgeted hours and report any potential overruns.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support operational efficiency.

What Were Looking For:

• ONC or HNC in Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working in an ISO 9000-compliant environment desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with fault-finding tools and electronic testing equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and record-keeping systems.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and an organised approach to work.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
