Production Manager
I have an opportunity for a Production Manager to join a growing family run fabrication company who specialise in prototype and low volume fabrication and sheet metal products to a variety of sectors including Rail Aerospace Defence Automotive etc As Production Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the manufacturing site health and safety quality management visiting customers and suppliers for various projects and ensuring maximum and efficient productivity I m looking for someone who can really drive and motivate shop floor employees improve the running of the site and someone who is keen to propose innovative ideas to increase output and productivity
Key Responsibilities for this Production Manager Role - Setting productivity goals and ensure KPI s are maintained- Ensure all capacity planning documents are up to date
- Ensure products meet all the required documented specifications
- Follow Create and help maintain procedure and specifications
- Ensure the shift complies with all company standards when working - health and safety hygiene and follow all safety rules focusing on team welfare and safety
- Assist in the QMS to meet the companies requirements
- To manage and mentor weld coordinators as well carrying out the role yourself
- Knowledge of CAD or similar design package
- Excellent leadership skills
- Full clean driving license
- Reliable and strong work ethics
- 30 days annual leave Bank Holidays
- Bonus scheme
- Overtime available
- Monday - Thursday 7 14am - 16 30pm Friday 7 15am - 12 15pm
