Make a Real Difference with Aspirations Care

At Aspirations, we support adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical health needs to live full, independent lives. If you're kind, reliable and looking for a role where your work genuinely matters, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll be helping people with the day-to-day things many of us take for granted — from personal care and cooking, to getting out and about in the community. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be building strong, trusting relationships and supporting individuals to live life on their terms.

Your day-to-day may include:

Helping with everyday tasks like personal care, cleaning, or preparing meals

Supporting people to enjoy hobbies, social activities, and trips out

Assisting with medication and recording care plans

Supporting people to stay safe, independent, and involved in their local community

Who You’ll Be Supporting -

You’ll be working in a shared home, providing 1:1 support to two individuals — each with their own interests, routines and personalities.

👨 Gentleman in his 40s:

Loves football (Dover Town and Folkestone are favourites), enjoys pub lunches, theatre, live music, and holidays. He uses a wheelchair and needs full support with daily living. He’s social, active, and looking for a support worker who is upbeat, reliable, and happy to get involved in the things he enjoys.

A driver is preferred, as he has his own car.

👩 Lady in her 30s:

Enjoys shopping, going out, and all things Disney. She's into musical theatre, pampering sessions, and loves a bit of glam. She also uses a wheelchair and requires full support. She’s looking for someone kind, patient, and enthusiastic to support her at home and out in the community.

A driver is also preferred, but not essential.

What We’re Looking For -

You don’t need years of experience — if you’re caring, dependable and willing to learn, we’ll give you all the training you need.

We’d love to hear from people who:

  • Are compassionate and respectful
  • Can stay calm under pressure
  • Are willing to work as part of a team
  • Are positive, reliable and supportive
What You’ll Get
  • £500 Refer-a-Friend bonus
  • Free enhanced DBS check
  • 28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Access to Aspirations Perks – discounts at major retailers
  • 24/7 GP access with Smart Health App (for you and your family)
  • Fully funded training and development (including Care Certificate & more)
  • Opportunities for career progression
  • Life cover (2x salary)
  • Pension scheme
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

About Us -
