Your new company
Our client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. They are focused on implementing robust data management and governance solutions to ensure data quality and compliance across the organisation. Having just moved into a brand-new state-of-the-art city centre office and with a large project pipeline, this is a great time to get involved.
Your new role- Conduct workshops with Subject-Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create "As is" and "To Be" requirements documents.
- Perform data analysis, data mapping, and data cleansing to support data migration from legacy systems to new systems.
- Develop data models and data dictionaries while considering non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate closely with business users across various locations to gather and analyse business requirements for data migration.
- Work with third-party suppliers to ensure accurate understanding and timely delivery of software solutions.
- Create detailed user stories and documentation for development teams and external suppliers.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on data migration and integration projects.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis, data mapping, and data cleansing.
- Familiarity with data modelling and data dictionary development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business users, SMEs, and third-party suppliers.
- The ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
What you'll get in return
This is a day-rate contract role, paying up to £450 per day depending on experience. There is a good chance of further long-term extensions. The organisation can offer a hybrid working split between home and their new Glasgow office. This role has been deemed to be inside the scope of IR35.
