Do you have experience of supporting ER casework, sitting on panels and working with a high ER caseload? Do you have the ability to travel across the BNSSG region?
The HR Operations team at Sirona have a great opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations HR professional to support the team with complex casework including disciplinaries, grievances, performance and long term sickness. You will be exposed to a wide range of issues and will need to be able to juggle competing priorities and have the confidence to challenge senior managers regarding the approach being taken and to confidently advise on process and potential legal challenges.
There will also be opportunity to get involved in other areas of HR Operations including policy development and manager training.
Main duties of the job
As an HR People Partner, with expertise in Employee Relations, you will play a crucial role in managing complex casework, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance, and long-term sickness. Your responsibilities will include:
- Expert Casework Support: Utilise your experience in supporting ER casework, attending investigation meetings, sitting on panels, managing paperwork related to cases and holding a high ER caseload of diverse and challenging issues.
- Prioritise and Juggle: Handle competing priorities skilfully, ensuring effective resolution of cases while maintaining a high standard of quality and compliance.
- Confident Adviser: Challenge senior managers when necessary, providing confident advice on process and potential legal challenges, contributing to fair and legally compliant outcomes.

Qualifications
Essential criteria- Degree in HR Management or able to demonstrate or an equivalent level of generalist HR knowledge / experience.
- Chartered CIPD Membership status
Employee Relations Experience
Essential criteria- Experience in a generalist senior HR role in a fast paced medium sized / large multi-site organisation
- Solid knowledge of current employment legislation and case law
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, in particular the ability to translate complex information and legislation into intuitive policies and guidelines, with the ability to interpret and explain a variety of routine and more complex HR matters
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities with a highly varied and unpredictable workload, through excellent planning and organisation
- Excellent IT literacy including knowledge and experience of using HR systems
- Understanding of Health and/or Social Care services
- Previous experience of using ESR
- Expert knowledge of Agenda for Change
