Are you passionate about delivering engaging, impactful education?

Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of young learners across the UK?

We are a leading provider of alternative and supplementary education across the UK. We work with schools and local authorities, offering one-to-one and small group tuition programmes tailored to meet the needs of children from all backgrounds.

Our mission is to ensure that every learner we support thrives, and we achieve this through the commitment of our exceptional educators.

We are seeking experienced tutors to provide in-person tuition to learners in Birmingham. If you have experience teaching KS1-KS4 English, Maths, or Science, and you're looking for an opportunity to make a lasting impact, we would love to hear from you.

You will be working with students who require daytime, in-person tuition to help them meet age-related academic expectations. These sessions are flexible and tailored to suit your availability, with opportunities ranging from 5 to 25+ hours per week.

Your expertise will play a key role in boosting learners' confidence, subject knowledge, and overall engagement with education.

Our learners may have complex needs, so experience in supporting children with the following will be highly beneficial:
  • Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, or Dyspraxia
  • Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges
  • Childhood trauma
  • Develop and deliver engaging, inspiring lesson plans.
  • Monitor learner progress, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and teachers to ensure the academic success of your learners.
  • Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance using our virtual learning platform.
  • Competitive weekly pay through PAYE.
  • Flexibility to manage your own workload; work around your existing commitments with the option for full-time equivalent hours.
  • Access to ongoing CPD training and insight into supporting SEN learners.
  • A dedicated Tuition Consultant to ensure you are matched with opportunities that suit your preferences and availability.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 6 months' teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
  • Residency and eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
  • A commitment to safeguarding.
  • Experience in supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs is highly desirable.

We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce. We believe that diversity enhances the learning experience for both our students and our staff. We encourage applications from all individuals, regardless of religion, age, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic that makes you unique.

We are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children. In line with government guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), all applicants must pass our strict safeguarding checks before being considered for work with us. This includes online searches for shortlisted candidates.
