Join our dedicated community team today!We are recruiting male drivers as Community Care Worker to provide care and support to people living in Gateshead (NE8, NE9, NE10). Gateshead will be you main location but at times we may require you to cover Newcastle also (this will be agreed with you at interview)

Job Purpose
Connecting our customers to community activities; providing care and support that promotes going above and beyond. You will be integral to enabling customers to access local community groups, activities and events.

Pay: £12.30 p/hr (drivers) - (paid per shifts not per call, travel time included)
Drivers may be required to cover all areas including Fawdon, Gosforth, Kenton, Heaton and Dinnington.
Mileage - 45p per mile for driversBonus schemes: up to £300 new starter, £300 Refer a Friend, £300 annual bonus. £25 birthday gift voucher.
As a Care Worker for Be Caring, your working hours will be aligned to our shift patterns, which for this role include late shift working and alternate weekends.
Early Shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pmLate shift: 3:00pm - 10:00pm (finish time depends on public transport times)
As a Care Worker for Be Caring, we will agree your working pattern, setting 2-week rota which includes:
Alternate full weekends.Evenings as agreed within your working hours.

Induction Training
We are looking for people with Be Caring values to join our team. For this role you do not need care experience, we recognise you will have many transferable skills from previous roles, for example as a shop assistant. We will provide you with the training you need to be an outstanding Care Assistant.
