Job Title Machine Operator
Location: Evesham, Must have own transport
Pay £12.20ph
Hours: Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours over 5 days per week to include one day at the weekend, variable working patterns available, will be discussed on the interview stage.
We are looking for an experience machine operator to join our busy client in Salford Priors on permanent basis.
Main duties and responsibilities
To ensure all line personnel adhere to food hygiene and health and safety policies and procedures.
You will have proven experience of packhouse production
To be responsible for effective running of all production lines including Pro Seal, BBC Blueberry Grader, Unitec Grader and the Robots
To ensure smooth operation of multiple lines
To conduct morning and end of shift checks for the production line, ensuring all equipment and machinery are in proper working order before the start of operations.
To perform regular glass inspections to identify and remove any potential contaminants from the production line, ensuring product safety and quality.
To collect packaging materials from the Labelroom and return unused materials at the end of each job run.
To set up packaging materials and supplies on the production line, ensuring they are readily available for the packing process.
To complete tool changeovers, coordinating with the maintenance team to ensure smooth transitions between product runs and minimizing downtime.
To collaborate closely with the maintenance team to address any issues or maintenance requirements promptly, ensuring uninterrupted line operations and minimal disruptions to production.
To collaborate with the production team to implement process improvements and best practices, aiming for continuous improvement and increased efficiency.
To ensure that lines are cleaned regularly and closed down properly at the end of each shift when not in used.
To undertake any other duty commensurate with the role
Each day we are responsible for placing several hundred dedicated operatives out to work throughout Worcestershire.
We operate from several conveniently located registration centres, therefore are likely to have an office close to you. We cover the following job categories: Order picking, Warehouse, Stores, Despatch, Packing, Assembly, Machine operating and FLT Driving.
