Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Special Educational Needs School in West Dulwich, Southwest London.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with primary, secondary, and post-16 pupils aged 4 to 19. You will be supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), complex needs, and communication difficulties. This role involves providing in-class support, assisting with tailored educational plans to meet the diverse needs and abilities of each pupil, and carrying out personal care duties as required to ensure the well-being and dignity of the students.

Daily Rate: GBP100

SCHOOL TYPE:A special educational needs (SEN) school that caters to students with a range of learning difficulties, including autism and communication needs. It provides a supportive and structured environment to help students develop essential life skills alongside academic learning.
SEN NEEDS: Autism and complex learning and communication needs.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND QUALIFICATIONS:- At least one years experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs (SEN).
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last two years
