Were excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking and dynamic accountancy firm, for the position of **Audit Senior Accountant** . This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role in managing audits for large companies while also building and maintaining strong client relationships.
In this role, youll lead audits, oversee client portfolios, and play a pivotal part in mentoring junior team members. Youll work in a supportive, collaborative environment with opportunities to shape and influence the firms processes and culture.
**Whats on Offer:**- Annual salary of £36,000 to £43,000, depending on experience.
- Company pension contributions of 3%.

- Plan and manage statutory audits for large companies, ensuring timely and effective delivery of procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, handling queries, offering advice, and managing deadlines.
- Review VAT returns prepared by the team, prepare draft accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders, and create management accounts as required.
- Train and support junior accountants, fostering their professional growth.
- Work closely with senior management and other client managers to ensure seamless workflow and exceptional client service.

**Essential Skills and Experience:**- Experience communicating directly with clients and managing client relationships.
- Proven track record in managing audit processes and meeting deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fully qualified member of a chartered professional body (ACCA, CA, CIMA, ICAEW) achieved via the examination route.
- A valid UK driving license is essential.
