A Female Personal Care Assistant is required to join a team who care for a young lady who suffers from Rett Sydrome in her home. The lady is non verbal and is prone to epilepic fits.

There are 14 hours are per week over 2 days (Monday & Saturday). The hours are usually 11 am till 6 pm. The successful applicant will be required to cover holidays and sickness.

Duties include: personal care, moving & handling, peg feeding. Full training will be given for all care requirements.

The rate of pay is £12 to £14 per hour (depending on experience). A pension scheme is also incorporated.

The successful applicant must be a non smoker.

Exception under the Equality Act(2010) this position is only available to female applicants due to the nature of personal care provided.

A DBS will be required.
