What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
p>- User focus - Use data from research and analytics to understand user's needs and test designs to meet them.
- Evidence and context-based design - Work with others to design solutions that are based on evidence and help identify gaps in knowledge.
- Prototyping - Use a variety of prototyping tools and techniques.
- Communication - Present your work and share design decisions, explaining ideas in a way that people understand and actively listen to other people's input.
- Accessibility - Design with accessibility in mind, showing familiarity with the WCAG 2.1 guidelines and designing to meet AA standards.
- Collaboration - Work in the open, engaging others in the design process. ul>

You and your role
p>
As an Interaction Designer you'll be driving innovation, creating new UX/ UI designs that are simpler, faster and easier to user, making DWP systems and services accessible to all.
p>
You will make design choices based user data and user research, and create prototypes to test that your designs meet the needs of the end user.
p>
We work in collaborative agile teams. You'll work alongside researchers, developers, product managers, architects and more to deliver services that really work for our users.
p>
You'll also be part of a wider DWP design community where you share solutions and best practice, and access learning and development that helps you be at your best now and in your future career/

Location: You'll join us in our brilliant digital hub in Westminster, London.
p>
Hybrid Working:We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
p>
Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £49,906.
p>
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth up to £14,422 per year.
p>
Holidays:A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.
p>
You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
