The postholder will: Support the Senior Diagnostic Transformation Manager(s) with strategic leadership and operational management of the programme contributing to the effective delivery of the national diagnostics programme Support delivery by engaging with subject matter experts, system partners and key stakeholders involved in the diagnostic programmes workstreams.
Deputise for Senior Diagnostic Transformation Manager(s) in full range of duties including attending and/or chairing internal and external meetings. Ensure accurate and open communication between NHSEI programme managers, ICS programme managers and key organisations is enabled and accommodated.
Co-ordinate and create returns to NHSEI relating to the progress of workstreams to ensure they align with national and regional strategic aims and objectives. Identify issues, risks and mitigations ensuring these are documented using local systems and processes, escalated appropriately when necessary and reviewed regularly.
Support financial undertakings to monitor and manage programme budgets effectively, acting in accordance with organisational policies and procedures. Support the portfolio of initiatives in demonstrating value for money and managing and delivering agreed benefits Operate professionally in a sensitive and political arena.
